Hi Families, Quick reminder for Walkers. We have limited parking spaces on Roy Ave. As always, Ms. O'Boyle (AP) and Dr. Madden will be outside to assist. Here are the directions:
1) Drive down Roy Ave
2) Pull over and park on right-side (additional parking in side lot and on the far left side)
3) Pick Up your student, then continue down Roy Ave to the turnaround (see cones and Ms. O'Boyle).
Please, no 3-point turns as this creates safety issues for families walking back to their cars.

Kindergarten Information Night: Do you know anyone with school age children ready for Kindergarten for next year? The Attleboro Public Schools is pleased to host Kindergarten Information Night on March 5, 2026, at 6PM. This evening provides families with information on how to enroll a student in Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year. Early Learning Center parents should attend to receive information for the next steps in the ELC to Kindergarten process. With the extra snow, some areas of the road will be narrow, especially with bus traffic exiting. Please be mindful and give way to our buses at all times.
To turn around, please continue to use the designated turnaround at the end of Roy Ave. It is extremely important that no one attempts a 3-point turn today.
For parking, please continue to pull over and park on the right-hand side of Roy Ave. Families who need to park for a longer period may use the side lot, and there are a few available spots on the left-hand side. Please do not park on the coned off areas and be mindful of walking families.

Hi Families! We hope everyone is staying safe out there! While we are all excited to get back to school as soon as possible, please do not drive down Roy Ave today (2/25) or tomorrow (2/26). Our Facilities team and the plows in the city are working hard to clear our roads and walkways after this historic storm. Every time someone drives on our road it compacts snow and creates more ice that will be harder to remove. Thank you for your support, patience, and understanding. We miss you too!

Reminder that tomorrow, February 13th, is a half day of school and dismissal is at 12:25. If your student's afternoon transportation plan is changing, please inform their teacher and the front office.
Good morning families! Today APS will delay its opening by two hours today, Wednesday, 2/11/2026. We have not done this in a while, so I wanted to clarify. This means that HRES' doors will open for students at 10:30am. Dismissal will still be at 3:25pm. Lunch will be served for all. For bus families, this means that your bus pick up times are +2 hours as well. For example, if your bus pick up time is 7:50am (+/-10 mins), it is now 9:50am (+/- 10 mins). Thank you and please be careful on the snow.
Hi Families, Just a reminder for Walkers. Please continue to pull over and park on the right- side of Roy Ave only. While additional space was cleared on the sidewalk leaving Hill-Roberts, this is for Walker safety only, NOT for parking. Further, as a reminder, for family safety, please drive slowly and no 3-point turns anywhere on Roy Ave (even at the end). See map.
