Our end-of-year celebrations have officially begun - the Let’s Glow, Someone Special Dance is tonight!
With this in mind, we have several RSVPs and EOY invites below, especially for our 4th Grade Families, who we look forward to seeing at the 4th Grade Concert this upcoming Tuesday, May 21st at 6pm! From Field Day Volunteer Sign-Up (Grade 1-4 on 6/11; K on 6/5) to the 4th Grade Battle of the Books Finale to BOGO Book Fair Family Night to the 4th Grade Moving Up Ceremony/Clap Out, we are excited to see you at Hill-Roberts!
Also, a huge thank you to the PTO and our families for a wonderful set of Teacher Appreciation Week festivities! We loved it!
Upon hearing that some folks were having trouble finding the Husky Howler on our website this year, I have decided to try push notifications. Interested to know if this helps. For now, I am off to the Let’s Glow, Someone Special Dance! See many of you there!

Update - Field Day Volunteer Sign-Up, Save the Date - 6/11
Field Day is Tuesday, June 11th for Grades 1-4 (note: K has their own activities on 6/5) and we are looking for VOLUNTEERS! Please sign up for one (or more) of the time slots here to help give our students a spectacular and memorable day. You can also help by lending a tent/canopy and/or a cooler for us to use for the day. Please drop off items by Monday, June 10th at the front office and label with your student's name so arrangements can be made for its return.Please direct all Field Day questions to Mr. Sabatino, PE Teacher, at asabatino@attleboroschools.com.
Note: All volunteers must have a CORI on file with the school. It's quick and easy! Please call 508-399-7560 or visit the HRES main office if you have questions.

We are proudly continuing the 4th Grade Clap Out tradition, while adding on a 4th Grade Move Up Ceremony. Please RSVP using the QR code below. Please note, with half-day, dismissal traffic we need to limit guests to two adults (a child in your lap is fine). Thank you for your understanding in advance!
Update - 24-25 Transportation Application Open!
24-25 Transportation Application Open! New this year, all eligible students, including Kindergarten and First grade, who wish to ride the bus to/from any of the Attleboro Public Schools MUST complete the Transportation Application to secure transportation. The only exception to this is for those with specialized transportation needs listed in an IEP. Families should refer to the email sent on May 3, 2024, or visit the APS Transportation website for details: https://www.attleboroschools.com/o/apswc/page/transportation

PTO Announcements
The 2023-2024 HRES Yearbook is now ON SALE!! This year’s yearbook will be $13 payable to the PTO via CheddarUp, cash, or check. The first 100 yearbooks ordered will be delivered before the end of the school year. Any additional books over and above 100 will be delivered later in June.
4TH GRADE FAMILIES!! Please don’t forget – your student will receive a yearbook from the PTO as our gift as they move on to middle school, so no need to order one!

We were in Our Appreciation Era this week! We celebrated our amazing teachers and staff with Teacher Appreciation week! A huge thanks to all of those who helped plan, set up, clean up, bake, decorate, and make friendship bracelets especially Justine Padula and Jen DiPietro!
