Dear Hill-Roberts Families,

Happy Mother’s Day! I hope you all are either being celebrated and/or celebrating the wonderful moms in your life!

The Someone Special Dance is this Saturday (see flyer)! If you can believe it, this marks the beginning of our end of year celebrations. Although for all of our grades we have several exciting events, including a fun-filled Field Day and BOGO Book Fair (see flyer), we of course, have some extra special celebrations for our Fourth Graders. From Next Week’s 4th Grade Concert and Battle of the Books Finale to the Ice Cream Book Signing Social on the last week of school to the Moving Up Ceremony and Whole-School Clap Out on the last day, we look forward to thoroughly celebrating our fourth grade students with these events and more!

That said, more to come. For now, please check out the PTO’s fliers with informational and volunteer requests for this weekend’s Dance and our upcoming Book Fair. Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership!

Update - 24-25 Transportation Application Open!

24-25 Transportation Application Open! New this year, all eligible students, including Kindergarten and First grade, who wish to ride the bus to/from any of the Attleboro Public Schools MUST complete the Transportation Application to secure transportation. The only exception to this is for those with specialized transportation needs listed in an IEP. Families should refer to the email sent on May 3, 2024, or visit the APS Transportation website for details: https://www.attleboroschools.com/o/apswc/page/transportation

Reminder - Attleboro Career Fair on 5/14/2024

Attleboro Public Schools and the City of Attleboro are pleased to host the second annual Attleboro Career Fair, being held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, from 4:30-6:30 PM at Attleboro High School. The Attleboro Career Fair welcomes anyone interested in engaging with staff from the Attleboro School Department, the City of Attleboro, and Attleboro-based businesses. Opportunities to learn more about licensing/training and career building resources will be available. For more details on the career opportunities and hosts available at the fair please see the flier attached. Screening interviews for school-based positions and free childcare can be scheduled by completing the registration form. All interested applicants should bring an updated resume.

Someone Special Dance

Save the Date!

Our LET’S GLOW Someone Special Dance will be held May 18 at Hill-Roberts! Tickets are on sale now! Monday is the last day to buy tickets!

Our GLOW dance is a week from tomorrow! We are looking for donations of baked goods and water, help decorating Friday night, and help during the dance sessions themselves (a GREAT opportunity for grandparents too!!!) Please sign up today at the link below!

2023-2024 YEARBOOK

The 2023-2024 HRES Yearbook is now ON SALE!! This year’s yearbook will be $13 payable to the PTO via CheddarUp, cash, or check. The first 100 yearbooks ordered will be delivered before the end of the school year. Any additional books over and above 100 will be delivered later in June. The flyer is attached, but will also be coming home with your student this week.

4TH GRADE FAMILIES!! Please don’t forget – your student will receive a yearbook from the PTO as our gift as they move on to middle school, so no need to order one!
