Today, our own Mr. Yangambi was the career presenter for our 7th and 8th grade students. He shared the importance of volunteering and how he became an educator through volunteering with kids in youth football. He also shared his personal journey to leadership, speaking about the key steps and choices that led him to become a Principal, and the important relationships and mentors who helped guide him along the way. A great reminder to our students that success is built one step and one connection at a time—and that volunteering can open many unexpected doors!

Mrs. Simkins’s class put their problem-solving skills to the test by stepping into the shoes of a budgeting family! Students were challenged to choose an internet and streaming service for their “new” home that not only met their fictional family’s needs—but also stayed within budget. All while applying their knowledge of solving systems of linear equations to make it happen! Who knew math could be this practical and fun? 👏📊 #RealWorldMath
